Outreach & Site Visits

Bringing a Natural Experience to You

For group leaders or teachers who are interested in creating an opportunity for their participants to experience nature at their locations, we offer both outreach visits to clubs, groups and organizations as well as onsite school programs for students.

Outreach Visits

Asbury Woods educators are available to give educational presentations on a variety of topics for adult audiences, including:

  • Gardening (butterfly gardens, composting, native plants)
  • Natural History of local and native species
  • Green Technology/Green Building
  • Environmental education and Nature Play

We also are able to provide hands-on activities on a variety of topics for youth groups that request an outreach visit, including:

  • Animal Tracking and Adaptations
  • Visits with Live Animals
  • Green Technology

Site Visits

A field trip to the Nature Center is always a great way to provide students with hands-on experiences, but when a sneakers-on-the-ground visit to Asbury Woods is not in the budget, a site visit is an affordable option for many schools in the area. Please visit our Traveling Programs page to see if your school is eligible to receive a site visit free of charge.
