Donor Spotlight: J. Thomas Tree Service

As owner of J. Thomas Tree Service, Jake Thomas lives and breathes trees. Jake commented, “As we have grown into a full-service tree care company, offering tree removal, pruning, trimming, and assessment, we’ve been delighted to share that expertise with Asbury Woods by donating services for the past ten years. When 2024 was designated The Year of Trees at Asbury Woods, it was a natural fit to increase our support to help foster a love of and appreciation for trees in our community.”

Jake’s connection to Asbury Woods goes back to his childhood, “I played sports at Asbury Woods. Enjoyed hikes in the woods, attended birthday parties, and more. Now, my own children are enjoying the same experiences at Asbury Woods, plus attending camps and school field trips.”

As the presenting sponsor of The Year of Trees, J. Thomas Tree Service is helping to offer a wide array of tree-related programs, events, information, and lectures throughout the year. As Jake expressed, “Asbury Woods is important to me because we need to preserve green spaces for people to get outside and enjoy what nature has to offer. Tree care and maintenance are things I am very passionate about. Being outdoors in nature is part of my everyday life. I’m pleased that we can reinvest in our community through this sponsorship.”
